Do I need a Lumbar Cushion for my wheelchair
Most wheelchairs have lumbar cushions. Even if there is a Lumbar cushion, then it does not have the LiquiCell Membranes to promote blood flow along the spine.
Our Lumbar Cushions also use a high resilience foam that just molds to the tiny C curve of the spine and at the same time the neck and spine are aligned increasing breathing and putting reduced pressure on the spine and tailbone.
Two sizes available. The small lumbar is for low back wheelchairs and the Large goes well with the Mobility Scooter.
You can also use the Lumbar on your sofa, recliner and car. Large is recommended for the car.
For Driving we recommend the Original Regular size and the Lumbar Cushion.

Seat cushions are measured by Width x Length x height.
Width is measured from side to side. If the sit bone is on the cushion, the width does not matter. Example: Our Travel cushion is 18W x 17L x 1” height. Even a large person over 200 lbs will benefit as long as the tailbone is situated on the center of the cushion. It is the magic of the LiquiCell membranes that provide vertical pressure relief. Even if the Length, which is front to back of the seat is a little over or less, our cushions adapt since they have a slight slope to relieve the pressure under the thighs and legs
The micro stretch fabric used in Ergo21 Cushions is self-cleaning. But feel free to wipe with a washcloth soaked in mild diluted detergent. Tide Fabric spray can also be used.

Yes, it can be left in the car. LiquiCell tends to ambient temperature, and in fact the viscosity of the fluid changes very little between -40°F and +300°F.
Just try to keep it out of direct sunlight on hot days. Keep it under the seat or trunk.
No other technology addresses soft tissue shear stress like LiquiCell. For relief of discomfort, it is imperative that shear forces are reduced to the greatest extent.
Not Needed since we use a soft microstretch fabric to cover our cushions. This fabric is self-cleaning but can be wiped with a wet rag soaked in mild detergent. We don’t recommend washing the cushion in a washing machine.
Our Travel Cushion is the most popular cushion used on airplanes. It is easy to carry. It provides relief from vertical pressure on the tail bone and thighs just like our other cushions with over 30,000 sold. It is very popular with travelers and pilots. In fact, we recommend bringing two of these. One to sit on and the other for the back/spine.
