Tips for Better Digestive Health
* Eat Fruit 30 minutes before a meal or 2 to 3 hours after.
* Don’t drink Juice or cold drinks or any Soda with the meals. Sip room temperature water instead.
* Don’t mix Melon with any other fruit. Try not to eat any Melon at all.
* No Dairy, Cheese, Milk – Eat very small amount if you can’t refrain (very important). Occasional indulgence is OK depending on your stomach.
* No Caffeine, Sodas or Juice. Instead of Juice eat the real fruit.
* Stay away from raw onions, cucumber, too much tomatoes, and radish if your stomach is acidic.
* Stay away from Eggs – Just eat them at Easter only! ☺
* Don’t eat any kind of Meat, Fish, Chicken or eggs until the symptoms of heartburn have gone. After, you get well, try to cut down any kind of meat, chicken and eggs to once or twice a week or become a vegetarian. Instead, get protein from rice, potato, vegetables, Lentil, Garbanzo, kidney beans etc.
If you do adopt the mostly vegetarian lifestyle, then don’t forget to take Vitamin B12 daily.
Get a fitness program going that includes stretching, Yoga, Cardio and weights for strength.
Zantac and Nexium have terrible side effects! Just read the label and that will be enough motivation to do something!
