I’ve had this cushion for two weeks now and it works great. I’m a big guy (6′ 4″ 260lbs) and the cushion in my office chair might as well be non-existent. I’m a believer in “you get what you pay for”, and this cushion works as advertised. It doesn’t flatten out like the cheap ones and it doesn’t slip on the chair when you get up or sit down, it stays put. I measured my office chair first to make sure it would fit and the size is right on. No more lower back pain from hours in the office chair, and it also eliminates the pressure from the back of my thighs that would restrict blood flow to my legs and make them fall asleep. The only adjustment I had to make was to lower my chair a few inches to get my head level with the monitor screens I use. I just wish there was a way to secure it so one of my coworkers or someone from the cleaning crew doesn’t steal it!

We are glad you noticed the quality of the foam. We got this High Resilience foam custom made for us here in USA.
We were looking for a foam that would give the proper support and not sink in after a few hours or days of use. The hand stitched 4 LiquiCell membranes keep the pressure off the tail bone and thighs.
And, we made this cushion in 4 sizes. How can someone who weighs 250 lbs sit on a 15 inch cushion?
The fabric was carefully chosen. It facilitates micro movements and stretches with your movement rather than create friction with your skin. It prevents shear stress and protects the tiny capillaries from being stretch and torn, which is also the function of the membranes. We wanted a feel of Rolls Royce type of comfort 🙂
We are constantly looking for ways to improve and make the best cushion for long term sitting comfort. And as you know we cannot escape sitting in our society. Sitting in the car, office and car again and then sitting some more at home and watching TV – LOL

Delft University conducted a study to determine the affect of various cushioning materials on blood perfusion (flow) over time. The aim of the study was to compare blood perfusion in the tissue in a live setting as opposed to a laboratory to get a more accurate reflection of real life conditions. The results of the study show that from the initial point of contact to some time later, LiquiCell actually improves blood perfusion by 150%, whereas gel and foam show a decrease in blood perfusion.

I had an accident and fractured my hip. After surgery with total hip replacement, 8 weeks of FT and cortisone shots, I continued with pain on my sciatic nerve. Note that it is not cause by back problems but more like by muscles pinging on the nerve and or scar tissue. Sitting on soft or bucket like seats has always been a pain. After testing two different times of seats I settled on Ergo21 LiquiCell Cushion and bought first the regular and after a few days the sports version. I keep the regular on my BMW which was a pain driving and the other one at home. I would recommend.
