Bought a top rated “ergonomic” memory foam with thousands of great review. It simply went flat when I sat on it. Based on that, I assumed all the other similar product would perform similarly so I tried something different. This cushion is perfect. Unlike the highly rated ergonomic memory foam cushion this cushion:
1. Covers the entire area of my chair seat
2. Doesn’t slide around
3. Doesn’t flatten out
4. Actually provides comfort that lasts for 12+ hours of sitting
Appears to be well constructed. My only question is, how long will it last?
Update: Over 7 months of use, 12+ hours a day, every day. I’m amazed that this still holding up! No meaningful permanent compression or breakdown of materials, inside or out. Definitely a 5 star product and I highly recommend it.

Long Term Blood Perfusion When Sitting on Three Different Cushioning Materials”

Delft University conducted a study to determine the affect of various cushioning materials on blood perfusion (flow) over time. The aim of the study was to compare blood perfusion in the tissue in a live setting as opposed to a laboratory to get a more accurate reflection of real life conditions. *****Very Good Cushion for Sciatica sufferer
I had an accident and fractured my hip. After surgery with total hip replacement, 8 weeks of FT and cortisone shots, I continued with pain on my sciatic nerve. Note that it is not cause by back problems but more like by muscles pinging on the nerve and or scar tissue. Sitting on soft or bucket like seats has always been a pain. After testing two different times of seats I settled on Ergo21 LiquiCell Cushion and bought first the regular and after a few days the sports version. I keep the regular on my BMW which was a pain driving and the other one at home. I would recommend.
